Project Description

Successful Deaf Americans is a book of eight stories about deaf people in America who are successful in their work or field. These people have been picked from the areas of sports, medicine, drama, education, government, telecommunications and Deaf organizations.

At the beginning of each story there is a word list with simple definitions to help students understand some vocabulary words that will be used in the story. At the end of each story are vocabulary exercises and comprehension questions to test the students’ understanding.
